About the event

This workshop is aiming to introduce beginning therapists and clinicians to the often complex and intensive challenges with which clients of chronic sexual abuse often present.

The emotional window of tolerance for these clients is often small and leads to difficulties of engagement, where either therapy remains in sallow waters of supportive elements or becomes overwhelming to the client, that results in the client "regulating" this by often missing appointments or dropping out of treatment.

This workshop aims at providing general treatment principals and techniques to clinicians wanting to work with ACC clients of chronic sexual abuse.
