Registered Counsellor (NZAC)
Clinical Psychologist (Master, Germany)
I’m a Registered Counsellor with NZAC and a Clinical Psychologist (Master) trained in Germany. For over 17 years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside children, adolescents, adults, and families—supporting them through life’s challenges with compassion, presence, and care.
My work is grounded in clinical expertise and genuine human connection. I specialise in psychotherapy for children and adolescents, with a particular focus on supporting them through traumatic experiences. Trauma can profoundly impact a young person’s development and sense of safety. Using evidence-based approaches such as Play Therapy, Group Therapy, behavioural strategies, and motivational techniques, I provide a safe space where healing and processing can take place.
Trauma work with adults is also a key part of my practice. Traumatic experiences can affect many aspects of life and wellbeing, and I support adults in gently working through these experiences, strengthening their resources, and finding new ways to make peace with their past.
In addition, I work with clients of all ages facing challenges such as eating disorders, ADHD, anxiety, and psychosomatic distress—always with respect for their unique story and individual needs.
My many years of training and practical experience in Germany have deeply shaped my values as a therapist: authenticity, curiosity, and a strong belief in the quiet resilience people carry within themselves—often even when they don’t feel it.
Since moving to Aotearoa New Zealand, I have continued this heart-led work with a focus on building resilience, restoring connection, and supporting people in discovering new strength and possibilities. I strive to create a space that feels safe, warm, and respectful—a space where healing can unfold at your own pace and in your own way.
At the heart of my practice is the belief that even small moments of understanding can lead to meaningful and lasting change. It is a privilege for me to walk alongside people on their journey toward healing, self-trust, and renewed hope.
