I’m a counselling psychologist and one of the Clinical Directors at Talking Cure. I’ve been practicing for over 15 years, walking alongside people who are trying to make sense of their lives — who feel stuck, disconnected, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward.
I’ve sat with people from all walks of life — CEOs and ex-convicts, doctors and gang members, teenagers and retirees — and what I’ve come to believe is this: people always make sense. I’m driven by a deep curiosity about people and a genuine value for them — whoever they are, whatever they carry. I find people endlessly fascinating, and I love helping clients make sense of their inner world in a way that brings clarity, self-compassion, and relief.
My approach draws on psychodynamic and humanistic therapies — including object relations, attachment theory, and person-centred models — but more than any technique, I believe therapy only works when there are two real people in the room. I aim to show up as myself: human, present, and real. And I’ll invite you to do the same.
Originally from Norway and the UK, I trained in London and have worked in public and private settings across three countries. What keeps me doing this work is the belief that change is always possible — and that when we begin to understand how we make sense, and allow ourselves to be seen just as we are, that’s when real transformation begins.
