We are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all clients. This includes being transparent about appointments, cancellations, and fees so you can engage in therapy with clarity and confidence.
Appointments & Payment
Session fees for private paying clients are typically due on the day of your appointment, unless we have agreed in advance. If an invoice is issued, we ask that it is paid by the stated due date.
Cancellations & Missed Appointments (DNA)
Your appointment time is reserved especially for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask that you provide at least 24 hours notice where possible.
- Cancellations with sufficient notice will not incur a fee
- Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur the full session fee where session fees are applied
We understand that unexpected situations can arise, and we will always approach these circumstances with care and understanding.
If Payments Are Delayed
If payment becomes difficult, we encourage you to get in touch with us early so we can work together on a suitable arrangement. If an account is overdue, we may send gentle reminders and may need to pause future appointments until the balance is brought up to date.
Ongoing Non-Payment
Our preference is always to resolve any concerns collaboratively and respectfully. However, if an account remains unpaid and we are unable to reach a resolution, we may need to take further steps to recover the outstanding amount, including engaging a third-party service. Where this occurs, reasonable recovery costs may be added, as permitted by law.
Privacy & Respect
Your privacy is very important to us. If payment recovery becomes necessary, we will only share the minimum information required and will do so in accordance with applicable privacy laws. All financial matters are handled with sensitivity and in line with the Fair Trading Act 1986.
