Talking Cure

Clinical Psychologist, Psychotherapist

I’m a Clinical Psychologist (NZPB) and Psychotherapist (PBANZ) with over 24 years of experience, working with people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward.

I work with a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and the impact of major life changes. What interests me most is how people come to make sense of their experiences—especially when life has been difficult—and how that understanding can begin to shift things.

My approach is grounded in depth-oriented psychotherapy, alongside evidence-based practices such as EMDR. I tend to work at a pace that feels safe and manageable, particularly when working with trauma. I place strong importance on the therapeutic relationship, and see therapy as a collaborative process—one that allows for greater clarity, emotional integration, and meaningful change.

I have a particular interest in identity, cultural transitions, and the experience of living between worlds. This includes working with expats, immigrants, and those navigating complex questions of belonging and self-understanding.

I’m also a Jungian Analyst (ANZJA, IAAP), and my work is informed by a long-standing curiosity about the inner life—how we relate to ourselves, how patterns form, and what makes change possible.
