Over the years Tobi has found his passion working with clients that present with complex problems, recurrent mental health concerns and failed prior treatments. He specializes in complex trauma and personality disorders with a keen interest in narcissistic presentations and concerns of self-worth regulation.
Tobi enjoys working from a modern psychodynamic perspective aiming at the deeper layers and core causes of mental illness.

Dr. Craig Colhoun

Craig holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Massey University. Craig is skilled in psychological assessment and treatment of individuals of various ages, backgrounds presenting problems. Craig loves his job, he aims to provide a safe non-judgmental place where individuals can learn about themselves, develop insight, connect to vulnerable experiences, laugh, overcome obstacles and learn to strive.

Rachael Diffey

Rachael has a passion for working with clients who have experienced grief, loss and trauma. She has specialist knowledge of addictions, substance-dependent families, and childhood neglect, as well as a particular interest in supporting those affected by fertility concerns. Rachael uses a variety of models, dependent on the needs of the client, including mindful awareness, and body-centred techniques, to work with the underlying causes of distress and difficulty.

Jessica Lochte

Jessica​ is a dance/movement therapist and counsellor, who utilizes body-based approaches of psychotherapy informed by research in neuroscience and neurobiology. To support the verbal process of therapy, Jessica incorporates nonverbal techniques of Creative Arts Therapies with a special focus on movement expression. She primarily works with adults presenting from diverse backgrounds and with a broad range of health challenges and risks. She has worked in inpatient psychiatry, as well as with refugees and asylum seekers in community settings, and with infants and toddlers in preventative well-being and healthcare centers.

Eliza Gibbons
Creative Arts Therapist, AThR

As an expressive arts therapist, Eliza’s approach is person centred, using the Expressive Therapies Continuum to guide her work with groups as well as individual clients. Beginning her career as a movement and arts educator working with primary and secondary school students, she quickly realised the therapeutic qualities engaging with the arts offered not only her students, but their whanau and the wider community as well. Eliza has experience working with children and adults from a range of diverse backgrounds with a variety of presenting issues. She is particularly interested in the therapeutic use of intermodal transfer when working with clients who have experienced trauma; and as a way to enhance holistic well-being.

Juliane Engels

Juliane was trained in psychoanalytic and depth-psychology based psychotherapy for children, adolescent and young adults. She further studied social work, with work experience for a youth welfare office as well as in family support. Befor joining Talking Cure she ran her own private practice as a psychotherapist for children and adolescent with 3 other colleagues. In addition, she has trained social workers, foster parents, teachers and educators in various psychotherapy related topics over the last 2 years. The age range in which she provides treatment is between infant and young adults (up to 24 years), including family and close relatives.

Rosemary is a senior clinical psychologist with more than 20 years of clinical experience working with moderate to severe mental health clients.
